Mike, a native of Salento, born in ’89, is an Italian violinist and producer.

His predominant characteristic is versatility, accentuated by his interest in a wide variety of musical genres: from classical to pop, from folk to Balkan music, from rock to jazz, to house and electronic music.

In January 2009 he founded, together with his friend DJ & producer Cristian Carpentieri, Joyfull Family Records, which in a short time became one of the leading Italian tech-house labels (www.joyfullfamilyrecords.com).

In the same period he also begins his collaboration with Alex Dimitri, which sees him involved in the composition and arrangement of the album “Alex Dimitri South Soul” published by BBE Records collaborating with the likes of Barbara Tucker and Inaya Day.

Important is the collaboration with OutCinema with which he participates in the production of soundtracks for numerous films and short films for Rai, Sky and Telethon.

From 2010 to 2018 he took part in the “Alla Bua” project, one of the most acclaimed world music ensembles in Italy and abroad (www.allabua.it), performing intensively in concerts.

For over ten years he has been a turnist alongside important Italian and international artists: Cesare Cremonini, Carmen Consoli, Paolo Fresu, Sergio Cammariere, Dolcenera and many others.

He is a live performer in the most prestigious Italian discos, including Kinki in Bologna, Hollywood in Milan and BluBay in Castro Marina, flanking the performances of internationally renowned Djs including: Sven Vath, Stefano Noferini Pastaboys, Pirupa, Christian Marchi, Tommy Vee.

He also continues his work as an arranger and composer, which sees him involved in the creation of audio for theater and dance and the creation of jingles and commercials in addition to orchestrations and transcriptions for all kinds of musical ensembles.

Since September 2019, he has been the Artistic and Musical Director of the Accademia Artisti di Roma (www.accademiartisti.com), among the most authoritative national realities in the field of artistic and cultural training, for which he created the innovative course in Singing and Musical Disciplines, which boasts the teaching of the likes of Guillermo Mariotto, Annalisa Minetti, Eleonora Giorgi, Grazia di Michele, Luca Pitterai, Maria Grazia Fontana, Fabrizio Palma and many others.
